Mrs. Bethany Sanio To All Instructors


I have been drawn to people and cultures ever since a missionary spoke in my kindergarten Sunday School class.  I always expected I would live in another country and serve God there, but instead he brought my husband from another country to me!  As one of the refugee centers of the U.S. and with the international students on campus, Lincoln has been an ideal place to continue investing in international friendships and fellowship.  I have taught Spanish at UNL since 2003 and hold a MA in Spanish Literature and Second Language Acquisition, with a BA in music. Homeschooling is my favorite! I am glad to support other families who homeschool by participating in this Exploring World Languages course. 

In my free time I read everything, connect with international people and groups, play with our cats and chickens, explore nature with our Charlotte Mason group, and talk with friends over coffee.
