Link Costs
There are pre-registration costs; these fees are due when pre-registration forms are submitted:
- Family fee - $40 per family, non-refundable (website and insurance costs)
- Student fee - $55 per student, non-refundable (administrators’ and facility costs), * after July 1st, the student fee increases to $100.
- OR Student fee for being on campus for only one semester (some of the dual credit classes are single semester only; most of our classes are year-long) - $25 per student, non-refundable.
There are tuition costs; tuition is due on the first day of class each semester. All tuition is paid to the Link and then we pay the teachers:
- $140 per student, per class, per semester. Most classes are one year long, so the total tuition cost for most classes is $280. (Sometimes science labs are half this price when the labs only meet every other week.)
- For dual credit classes, there will be additional tuition costs owed to Concordia/Southeast Community College/Union College.
There are additional costs; each family is responsible to provide the following for their student(s):
- textbooks
- supplies
- lab fees, depending on the teacher and the class
- supply/photocopying fees, depending on the teacher and the class
Refunds & Dropped Classes
- Anytime before the first day of school in August, classes can be dropped with 100% tuition refund. There is no fee or obligation.
- After a student has attended the first day of class and through the 4th class, classes can be dropped with a partial refund. Class tuition will be refunded minus a drop fee of $45.
- Any classes dropped after the 4th Tuesday will not be refunded.
Late Payment Policies
- First semester tuition is due by the first day of class in August. Second semester tuition is due by the first day of class in January.
- A late fee of $25 accrues for unreceived tuition on the day after the first day of class in each semester.
- All tuition owed must be received before class on the third week in each semester in order for children to continue attending class at the Link.
- Families who are no-shows for their Required Service responsibilites will be assessed a $50 fee. If that fee is not paid in 14 days, their children may not attend class at Link until the fee is paid.
- When families opt to pay instead of working their Required Service hours, they must pay within 14 days of the day they were scheduled to work, or their children may not attend class.
